Im Still Here Blog

Dear Diary, today all I ate were beans. And my little sister Marion was still hungry so I gave her the rest of my food. My parents still didn't tell Marion or I why we are stuck behind a bookshelf with another our neighbors. Every time we hear noises Marion cries so mom has to cover her mouth, so I always ask "Why are you doing that mom, you're hurting her?" "It's okay, shes not getting hurt. Its for our own good" then she starts to tear up so I just say "Oh okay mother." When I slept one day all I heard was " Is the bookshelf is reversible?" And the other one said "I don't know we can check tomorrow" That got me me really scared because I didn't know who said that. The next morning, I didn't tell my family what I heard yesterday because I thought they would start to worry and I didn't want to put them in danger. But at the end I regret not telling them..

Holocaust Museum fieldtrip

I really enjoyed the Holocaust Museum in Skokie. It was a very fun but sad trip.  It was really informative, I learned a lot about how the Jews were treated back then, and it was really bad. My favorite part about the trip was when the survivor talked about his experience back then. It was really sad but interesting. He also showed us his tattoo number on his arm when he was put in a concentration camp. I was lucky to see the survivor because the workers there said that most of them are dying so we are a lucky school.

Erika's quote

This quote is very inspiring, it reminds me of the movie Dear John. It reminds me of the movie because John chose love towards Savannah and risked many things for here. Although, Savannah married another man while John was away in the military he still came back for her because he loved her.These two quotes relate to each other because they both talk a out choosing love and to always be there for one another.And in the movie John was always there for Savannah although he only meet her for a week. In Erika's quote she talks about choosing love over any obstacle, and that's how these two quotes relate to each other.

Endings and Beginnings

I think its going to be hard to leave this school. I have been in this school since the sixth grade and now I've became attached to these teachers and friends. I will miss my teachers and friends a lot. Even though we will leave each other I know we will still keep in touch. But I feel lucky to have these people in my life, that it's going to make it this hard to say goodbye to them. Even though I will miss coming to school with them I know I'm blessed to call them my friends.

Leap Year

The last Leap year was four years ago. And the the year was in 2012. I was in the fourth grade. I was at a different school that I am in now, I was at  Elementary School. On the last Leap year my teahcer was Mrs. Uhle . I was only ten years old, now im 14.  Ive changed alot through the past four years. Ive made so many new friends from my new school.
The next Leap year I would be graduating high school, and looking forward for college. Also,I would hopefully be driving a nice Range Rover.

Ishtar's Sweet 16

 I attended my sister Ishtar's sweet 16. Her theme was Cinderella. I helped decorate the banquet, and it turned out really nice (cuz of me). I also pick out her dress, which was also really nice. I had so much fun, I really liked the dessert table which had amazing sweets. I also really liked the part where we slow danced. My sister slow danced with my dad, her friend Jason, her friend Jeff, then my two brothers.  My cousins and I also put some Assyrian culture into the birthday by doing a traditional belly dance. We belly danced. I had so much fun at my sisters sweet 16.

Food blog

My three cousins my sister and I had a sleep over by my cousins. All we ate that day was Chipotle. It was 2 o' clock in the morning and we were hungry, so we decided to go buy food at Walmart. We drove to a 24/7 Walmart, when we got there we separated into two groups. It was my two cousins and I. Then it was my cousin and my sister. We all got the chips, candy, popcorn, ice cream, cookies, popsicles and pizza we wanted. We then came home and made all the food and got it all ready. We watched a movie and ate all the food. I had a whole box of sugar cookies, I ate so much Hot Cheetos and soooo much more. I was so full and my stomach was hurting the whole day and it went on for two days straight. I then went to the doctors and they said i had food poisoning from the food I ate.

My Pandora Bracelet

Something of mine that i love so so so much is my Pandora bracelet. A Pandora bracelet is a special kind of jewelry. It involves buying charms that describe your special moments in life and it describes your personality and style. I think my bracelet is very creative. I like how i can look at my charms and every charm reminds me of special moments, like the places I've traveled to and my hobbies. And how there is a meaning behind every charm. My bracelet is special to me because I got it from my parents for my birthday.

Dear John Review

A soldier John Tyree (Channing Tatum) meets a beautiful girl Savannah (Amanda Seyfried) at the beach. She accidentally dropped her wallet in the ocean from a balcony and he jumped in the water to help her get her wallet. Ever since then, they started catching feelings for each other. They developed a strong relationship in 2 weeks, but then John had to go back into the military, because break was over. Before he went back to the military Savannah wrote him a letter and told him to read it later on, so he read it when he left and he replied when he was in the military. Then they started sending each other letters. She then sent him a letter that had something big news, which made them stop talking and also made him burn all the letters. Then he goes back home and sees her again...

2016 Resolution

My 2016 New Years resolution would be to stop spending so much money. When I go shopping Im going to try to spend less, and make a maximum amount of money to spend. In 2015 I spend too much money on worthless things, that I never used. So I think this would be a good New Years resolution for me.
